I acquired this title page splash from a fellow collector in
late 2006, prior to the sudden death of Mr. Dave Cockrum. His
work on Uncanny X-Men helped breath new life in the title
and gave a new generation of comic book fans the chance to
enjoy the characters he brought to life. We will miss his
kindness.
